A secular ceremony starts with a traditional procession of the guests, the witnesses and the parents, followed by the groom, then the bride, either with or without bridesmaids and pages. After a personal welcome, the celebrant reminds the future spouses of the principles of the legal marriage. The spouses, if they wish, can pay homage to their families. After which the witnesses, invited by the celebrant, can show their affection by reading personal stories or authors’ texts. A period of quiet contemplation highlighted by discrete music is also a possibility.
This is followed by the tryst of the spouses and the exchange of rings. The ceremony is cut up by texts, poems and music chosen together with the celebrant. Before putting together a ceremony which is perfect for you and the image you want to project we meet in order to set up a close relationship with you. We advise you on the procedure of the wedding, paying particular attention to your wishes and desires.
We customize all the texts for your ceremony combining solemnness and joy. On the day of the ceremony our role is to construct with competence and passion – given our experience and the confidence built between us – the ceremony which we have conceived together. With over five years experience and many ceremonies performed we are able to give you exactly what you want.
The role of a celebrant requires a passion for human contacts, a tradition of public speaking, and the gift of being able to hold the public’s attention. Our artistic careers are proof of this. We take on the role of celebrant with sincerity so that your day remains the best day of your life.
